Metaverse Reloaded: Revisited
Three presentations of the show in a row and still standing! As always, when Opium puts on a performance, sets are thoroughly designed, with extreme attention to detail. This was also the case for the “Metaverse Reloaded” show. With the Herculean task of pulling off no less than 29 runs, ranging from doubles up to quadruplets, the spectacular garments shown could be counted almost in the nineties.
The Designers/Sponsors represented were:
- Minx Glaz and Soraya Vaher of VIOLATOR
- Thea Tamura of THEA TAMURA FASHIONS
- Deliziosa Vendetta of GEMS & KISSES
- Lion Jonesford of LION SKINS
- Viktoria Brandenburg of VvB STILETTO
- Candy Durant and Ariel Zuhal of CALAMITY
- Amaranthim Talon of TALON FAIRE
- Alpha Auer of ALPHA TRIBE
- Helena Stringer of THE STRINGER MAUSOLEUM
- WWW.MOOLTO.COM
- Poses provided by White Tiger Combat
- GALLAND HOMES
- JJ LANES FURNISHINGS TO REFLECT YOUR IDENTITY
- THE JUNGLE
- SERENA ESTATES
- ATEA AVATARS
Uniqueness, and ability to creatively step outside the realm of normality, was the signature that connected all of the talented designers. Models came out in sets of one, two, three, and even six, side by side. Designs ranged from various forms, colors, floating veils/trains, to multi-colored skins, accenting provoking designs.
Seated inside a machine from an unknown century, the audience was perched on pedestals. Clockworks in constant motion on the walls, and suspended capsules above, offered eye-catching and intriguing points of interest. The venue’s design conveyed a sentiment of anticipation and suspense, hinting a futuristic and alien unknown. The show promised to be strong and it was proven two hours later when the production was given a thunderous applause.
Attending guests were Grazioso Alekseev, Frolic Mills, Sora Tatham, the fabulous Designers/Sponsors, along with too many to name. The DJ/Emcee Seren Dawes, kept the crowd’s heads bobbing, entertaining with great music throughout the evening.
Opium models presenting were: Accacia Brissot, Anastacia Markova, Aspen Parx, Amber Quinzet, Apollo Call, Ella Quinsette, Hollee Zhora, Katherine Comet, Kay Fairey, Marcus Night, Miaa Rebane, Devlin Muircastle, RicoRacer Flux, Locked Semaphore, Trystan Zeid, Veronica Krasner, and Wicca Merlin.
The models did not disappoint! Traditional poses were combined with combat poses, floating, flying, and even kick-boxing, drawing the audience in further. The theatrical presentation of the “Metaverse Reloaded” performance, made the show a memorable occasion for all fashion enthusiasts.
OFA Owner/CEO, and conceptual designer/show producer, was Anastacia Markova. The DJ/Emcee was Seren Dawes, Chat Hostess Jasmine Night, Runway Director Katina Magic, Set Designers Anastacia Markova and Accacia Brissot, along with the Opium founder, Mallory Luke.
